Our project “Healthy baby” is divided into four main sections:
Recent development in genetics enables us to make a deeper analysis of inherent dispositions of every newborn child. In many cases, by detecting risk-inducing genes and timely precautions, it is possible to preempt or leastwise put back a disease outbreak.
The section “Immunity” is devoted to a complete examination of the newborn’s immunity. From cord blood, we can assess the level of immune system maturity, immunodeficiencies, risks of allergies, or autoimmunity. These assessments are incredibly important for morbidity prevention and prevention of allergy or autoimmunity development.
In the section “Vaccination” we discuss ingredients contained in vaccines, immunity, and risks connected. A detailed examination allows us to pick out individuals, for which the standardized vaccination plan is not suitable. An individual vaccination plan enables us to minimalize any prospective health complications.
The section “Breastfeeding” is dedicated to the complex properties of a mother’s breastmilk. Breast milk is an important source of nutrition. It both actively and passively forms a newborn’s immunity and it also partakes in developing the newborn’s gut microbiome, which is key for balanced immunity functioning. Based on a detailed analysis, it is possible to expose occurring defects of breast milk, which we can then remedy and thus, improve the physical condition of a newborn.
